New to r2r

Hi, I’m new to r2r. I usually use nano reef, but wanted to try something different. I’ve had my tank set up for almost 2 years. It’s a 29 gallon tank and right now I’m having a bit of a algae issue.

I will post some pictures later when I get home. It’s hair algae and film algae on the glass. Pretty sure it’s film. It’s hard to get off and makes it hard to see into the tank. It’s green

I have a very colorful rainbow carpet nem in the tank. Well I’m still on the fence about the ID. It’s either a regular carpet or a mini carpet. Got one heck of a deal, was pretty much given it. Got it for 20 bucks
