Hello all, my name is Jared and I am new to Reef2Reef. Began in the hobby in April of 2018 after my now ex-wife left me. Started by purchasing a 42 gallon bow front (non-drilled) but when I got to my LFS to purchase the needed equipment to get it up and running found a 1 year old used 90 gallon with stand, canopy, sump, and return pump for a steal! I have approximately 130lbs of Haitian LR, 2 clowns, and a Blue Hippo Tang. Started adding corals about a year ago. All coral have started as frags from either my best friend (who has been in the hobby many years or from my LFS. I currently have Pavona, Pocillopora, Montipora, Birds Nest, three different types of Blastos, Duncan, Lettuce Leather, Chalice, Torch, and Bubble Coral (I think). The more I learn about keeping saltwater the more I figure out there is to learn. I was always the type who was very intimidated by the thought of trying my hand at saltwater because I had always heard it was difficult. Now that I am in it I find that while difficult at times, it's only as hard as I make it and I can always find someone who is willing to lend advice and knowledge. I am excited to continue to learn through this forum and those on here!
