New to R2R!

Yo yo TrekReefer, welcome!
Looks like you have a good plan and stocking list. That will help you greatly in determining other tank needs (flow, lights, aquascape, substrate, etc...). The crew here at R2R as plenty of knowledge and advice to help you on your journey!

Ooh...purple mushrooms! I love them. I have a few of them. Not great photos though in my new tank, they seemed to do better in my Nano 20. Welcome. I am relatively new too. Initially, I thought I had experience, but everyone else is so much more experienced than I am. I try as hard as I can. I work hard on my tanks and I research and read a lot to learn as much as I can. So much to know!
Happy you are here! JL

Hello. New to the community and saltwater aquariums. So I can have success my first go around, I am planning to setup a tank. Here's what I have in mind.

AIO tank & stand: Red Sea Max E 260 or JBJ rimless 65
Fish: 2 naked clownfish, 2 cleaner shrimp, 1 six line wrasse, 1 royal gramma
Corals: Toadstool leather, purple mushroom, cabbage leather, spaghetti finger leather, GSP(?)

I want to focus on keeping things alive and happy. Soft corals so I don't have to dose. Hardy fish who eat readily. An AIO to get the use to a saltwater system and equipment. Input/suggestions are welcome.

Heyo!
Welcome to R2R!
Red Sea make some great tanks. The E series is nice to start off with. :)
The only thing i’d reconsider is the sixline. They tend to be pretty aggressive. Possum wrasses aren’t as colorful but they’re super peaceful and entertaining to watch. You can even get a little group of them!

R2R is pretty amazing. Pretty daunting because the people here are so experienced. They have been doing this for so many years. I learn so much every time I read the posts. I recently read about Phytoplankton and water changes it blew me away. So far beyond where I am, but so helpful in understanding where I need to be.

Welcome to R2R and the wonderful folks, information and help.
Patience, it is the big word around here, Reefing is patience to cycle, to watch things grow, to keep your tank balanced.
I recommend to everyone joining to create a tank build thread.
1. You get to see where you have started and how much you have grown in this hobby.
2. We love pictures and to see what your doing with your tank.
3. It’s a great learning tool for all of us to see what works and doesn’t . We learn great stuff from each other.
Lastly the only bad question here is the one not asked...

Thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to look into this fish.
