New to reactors.

I have had this same system set up a few times. This time I got a little fishies reactor for 15 bucks. I have all soft plumbing. I am using a vectra m2. My question is I have a gate valve to adjust the flow. I am not running gfo or Carbon yet only filter floss. If I put the reactor return line in the same section of the return pump. It seems like the same water will be just circulating. So what options are out there besides running a separate pump or am I thinking too much into this?

Just put the outlet hose near your return pump, you may get a little recirculation but plenty of new water will enter the reactor to still make it effective.

Are you saying your reactor is split off of your return line? if so the majority of the water will not be going into the reactor. No need to worry.
