New to Reef Keeping and Forum

Hello Everyone,
I am a beginner at reef keeping, but not at keeping fish. I have had a fish tank going in every home since I was about 19 years old. I have had freshwater and fish only saltwater tanks but never tried a reef system before.
Becoming a member seemed like the logical thing to do as every google search regarding reef keeping seems to bring me here anyway. There is a wealth of knowledge here and I am excited to learn more. Thank you all for the knowledge I have already learned.
Here is a picture of my tank as it is now. Its 10 weeks old and just getting started.

Welcome- tank looks like you did your homework.

Welcome to what is in my opinion the most exciting non-physical hobby in existence. The colors, the balance, the growth will make your jaw drop. But take warning, you will go through some pain the first year in some way. Stick it out and read these forums. Your tank will begin to become its own organism after awhile. Algae will go away, parameters will stabilize, and you will see fast growth.

Test, test, test. Then test some more. Do this every other day if you have to for a few months.
