New to reef tank....cycle questions

Hello to everyone. I have recently purchased a 120 gallon tank with a 52 gallon sump. I have cycled the tank for approximately two weeks using two raw shrimp from the deli. Currently my ammonia reading is 0. Nitrite is dark purple 5 parts per million. Nitrate is running high at about 80 ppm. I have about 18 pounds of live rock and 50 lb of dry Rock. In the beginning I added about a half a bottle of microbacter7 and two bags of live sand. I was wondering where I'm at in my cycle and I'm a little bit concerned about how high the nitrates are. Should I let everything process until the nitrites decrease to zero. Please let me know your thoughts

If you're still registering nitrite but no ammonia it means you're nearing the end of your cycle. I personally would give this post from @Brew12 a good read through. It's a very well thought out guide to cycling and will answer any questions you may have edit: forgot to add the link ;Hilarious

Thank you. No algae blooms yet. Just waiting to put my cleaning crew and first batch of chromis in.
