Hi all,
so I have been out of keeping saltwater tanks for about 10 years now and never had the chance to keep any types of corals. Now that I have more time I have jumped back in but everything I thought I knew has changed. I currently set up a 32g biocube with about 40lbs of live rocks and 20lbs live sand,(34 pounds of rock in main tank and about 6 pounds in chamber 2 next to intank) I have a coarl live v2 skimmer in chamber 1 with a few extra bio media balls in a bag that was left over of what didn't fit in my intank. The intank is holding filter floss, bio media balls, and activated carbon, and in chamber 3 I have stock pump and heater. The main question I'm reaching out is in regards to wave makers I just purchased a jebao OW 40 but not sure of what the best location or best setting to keep it at for corals and fish if anyone can help with this would be great. I have it on a low setting right now in the back left corner next to return pump. it was kicking up alot of sand when setting was 2 high. Want to get this fixed before adding fish to start cycling. Tank has been up for about 7 days now. Thank you in advance for the help.
