Hi everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new here but not to the hobby. I've had aquariums for many years. In fact, I started keeping marine fish back in the mid 70's and ventured into the reef keeping world in 1979. I currently have a 57 gallon rimless tank with mostly SPS and a 25 gallon tank that's predominantly soft corals. I live in Salisbury NC and I'm the current treasurer for the Reef Aquarium Society of Charlotte (RASOC). This is my second year filling this position and I enjoy doing it. I look forward to meeting some of the members here and having lively and informative discussions about this wonderful hobby. Below are a couple of pictures of my tanks. I know how much we all love pictures!

Thanks, this tank has been through a lot, it just turned 2 years, or will be the 15th of this month. I had a crash last May when the heater malfunctioned and pushed the temp to 95 degrees. I should say the temp probe on the controller went south on me. Anyway, I lost 3 fish and a shrimp. I also lost some very nice frags that had started encrusting really well. I ended up pulling about a 5 gallon bucket full of dead SPS coral out if the tank. Talk about depressing...
