New to Reef2Reef

Hi,
I am new to reef2reef. My husband spends hours on here everyday reading so i figured i would give it a try. I signed up yesturday and had i fun filled night! My husband and i have had various tanks through the years and as of now we have a 220 reef. We are from Pittsbugh Pa and have two girls 8yrs and 6yrs.... Our 6yr old loves acans and well our 8yr old loves zoas she monitors all the frags in the tank by keeping a journal and also knows how to test the water.

Thank you everyone for the welcome. Now i can stay up to date with the newest zoas instead of always asking bob i can do it myself. about the other night it was a very funny experience bob is now suffering from it, because some of our friends found the pictures and posted them on FB. Its a good thing our friends know us well and know we are always doing something fun and bob will do anything for coral. Bob i know you don't spend more than $5 for a frag unless i aprove. Haha

aquaman I do visit wetpets not very often though i love the fish there. i visit aquaworld i like the selection much better coral and fish!


Emoney whos the ravins? haha j/k i am a Steelers fan all the way but i must be honest the last two yrs i have not been dedicated to watching the games. I enjoy the Pens more so and never miss a game. i like hockey better.

Mermaids - where is aquaworld. I don't frequent Pittsburgh super often but head that way normally at least once every other month. Wet Pet's has gotten so terrible with their prices I have been looking for something else.

Thank you Terry for the welcome our daughters really love their fish they have finally started enjoying the coral. Our oldest daughter is very very smart and keeping a journal also keeps her mind busy. our little one well she is a tough one haha. i love to sit and show them all of the newest corals. Alyvia (our oldest) has been asking for rastas and she got them from the live sale. Our little one is looking for i think they are called clementines and the other is madusas. i am sorry for the spelling i am horrible when it comes to spelling and i can not figure out how to use this spell check i am a number person lol.

As for the other night i am very shy but when bob said it was for something that the girls picked out i went with it lol and had alot of fun and a few showers that night!

I have to approve of his spending on corals cause if i let him go there would probably be nothing left in our account haha

sexycorals (Mike) no rush on getting to the pm i know how busy one can get running a business! bobs pictures made it to FB and several people tagged me i deleted his picture before he even got a chance to see it. taking the picture of us in the tank was hysterical i was in my pjs and bob yelled and said put close on our neighbor was on his way over so i threw close on and bob told me i had to put my head in the tank. well that wasnt so easy i am very short and bob had to stack a bunch of stuff for me to reach and the neighbor kept yelling at me cz i was holding my nose i had to do it like ten times before they could get a picture without me holding my nose. yuck that water tastes horrible!

Demitria is our little one and all she wants to do is feed the fish by hand all day. When their friends come over she shows them what she can do then of course they want to do it too! She only cares about her coral lol
