Just signed up for the forum which after being in the saltwater hobby for over 10 years desided to join a forum, currently I have a 55 gallon reef with mushrooms, candy cane, leathers, buble coral and two clowns and a blenny. I just started cycling a new 120 gallon in wall tank which will become my main reef display and will be turning my 55 gallon into a seahorse tank after the move. I started my 120 gallon on April 1st with about 75 pounds of live rock as I will be adding 50 more pounds from my 55 gallon after the cycle has completed. Tested my water yesterday and my ammonia has spiked off the chart and Nitrate and Nitrite have started raising as well. I'm very excited about the new tank and always the cycle wait is the hardest part but that is part of things. I also added a new AquaEuro PS135 protein skimmer and I must say this is a great skimmer and has been pulling junk out for the last week. I will make another post soon on all my equipment and pictures of everything soon. Glad to be apart of the forum and have been reading post allday and must say this place is packed full of information and I've searched and looked through a lot of forums over the past few weeks and Reef2Reef is the best I've seen.

Welcome to R2R! Good luck with the new 120 and, yes, waiting on the new tank cycle takes some patience. We're looking forward to seeing pics of your tanks!

Hey there! Glad you decided to join us, here on R2R! Can't wait to see your reef!

Welcome to r2r and look forward to seeing pictures and info on your new setup. Can completely emphasize on waiting for the cycle, in the process of cycling my tank right now. Look forward to seeing some build threads on the 120 and the seahorse tank.
