HELLO, I started out as you did. I went from fresh water fish as child and as an adult. Started a saltwater tank 2013 / 2020, Just starting reefing in my 55g, Due to the amount of space, I'm undecided getting 120 / 150 Gallon ( don't tell the wife ) LOL.

Thank you everyone. At this point, I have spent about 12 months in the last 18, just basically researching and familiarizing myself with not only the science for maintaining a reef but also making sure i am aware of the equipment options available. I must say that for those of you familiar with BRS, I have come to appreciate the information they provide in their videos. It's a great resource to at least get a good understanding of what I signed up for. I understand that everything will always be subjective and there will always be neigh sayers but for someone such as myself, who although is familiar with maintaining an aqiarium to a much smaller degree, the information I have obtained from their videos has been extremely valuable.

Unfortunately equipment is always evolving and whatever I buy today will be obsolete tomorrow but I try not to focus so much on what I want as opposed to what I need.

Welcome to Reef 2 Reef!!

This is a nice thread
