I know for sure I’ll be keeping fish and softies. I’d like to work into LPS down the road when I get the hang of reefing and feeling confident (probably at least a year out). Sps seem intimidating for now. I didn’t realize how much lights are considering how cheap (in general) LEDs are. I would really like to avoid buying stuff “to get by” and then replacing it all. I’d go the T5 route but I’ll be in it as much as decent LEDs over time anyhow and I don’t like the all or nothing idea with them- but ~$400 is easier to swing than $800 at once.

Plenty of time to be had. Wife and I are waiting on banking for refinancing the house and redoing the floors where the tank will be. I told her if the tank is up and running before we redo the floor, we will be flooring around it!! Haha
