Something to display in my living room, elegant and nice looking. Waterbox seems realy nice. Im on the 5th floor and the floor is 10 inches of concrete. what are my future limits?. Thanks.

Welcome to the hobby! Definitely take it slow, it was a huge learning curve for me at first switching from fresh water to salt. Definitely a lot to learn but at the same time very rewarding g.

I once bought a 125G and almost had it set up, then had to move and sell it. Ive spent many weeks watching videos, Reefers builders, etc, youtubes and been reading everthing I can get my hands on. i know this takes time and patience. very excited.

Does living near the ocean have any perks?, Like would i be able to catch fish and put them in my tank. I know this must sound really silly, lol.

Get yourself an rodi so you aren’t hauling buckets! I had an apartment reef. Not sure about size limitations, but I’ve often wondered if I flooded my downstairs neighbors overflowing rodi in my laundry closet lol.

Welcome! I’m a new reefer as well. Idk about the floor question so I’d talk to a builder or a structural engineer if at all possible. Also, rodi. I don’t think setting my butt on fire would make me lug buckets up and down 5 flights of stairs. But that’s just me.

if you want to, consider making a build thread. Great way to share your experiences with fellow newbs, and also an awesome avenue for help with whatever unforeseen hiccups invariably happen.
