Just wanted to say hi.
I'm kinda new ( still a noob) to reef aquariums. I had a horrible experience with a 7gal nano cube and a pushy jerk of a salesman several years ago. After I did some research and learned to not always listen to the salesman I had it running very well for about a year and I also had a 27gal cube that did really well but everything perished when my wife and I moved. So it's 5 years later and the wife finally gave me the go-ahead for a new tank.
Today I set up a 55 gal tall tank, added my water and sand. Tomorrow I'm headed out to buy a sump and lighting and all the wonderful things that go into a tank before anything live every touches the water.
I'm so glad to be getting back into the hobby. And I thank you all in advance for the information, helpful hints and understanding of my noobishness that I hope is sure to follow in the coming months.
