New to salt , glad to be here .

Always kept freshwater tanks , from 10g -125gal. Still have a 125gal up and running with african cichlids. Figured why not try the salt life out . Definitely have a lot to learn , starting out with a 40b . Going basic set up for now, until I get a good understanding of what I'm doing lol . Aqua clear 70 HOB , 35lbs of rock , live sand and reefbreeder photon 35 V , I believe it is for lighting. Haven't purchased a pair of powerheads or wave makers ...as I don't know which to get . Will grab a HOB skimmer as well down the line , tank as only been cycling for about two weeks or so . Wasnt sure of which test kit to go with , so I grabbed redsea marine care test kit today . Any info and tips would be greatly appreciated. Used a spot light just to snap a few pics at that time , water was still clearing up .
