Candy how did you set up a tank so it was ready for fish three to five weeks earlier than normal cycling should have taken?

Fill it up with live live rock. Mine cycled in 9 days. Seriously

I start mine with mostly live rock too but I still allow the tank several months running to stabilize before adding fish. It gives the system a chance to coat everything with bacteria, to begin growing pods and other micro fauna. It allows time for the plants in the system to remove any nitrates or phosphates that may leach from the rocks before adding a fish load although I generally add some corals at any time from day one.
