As long as your parameters are stable everything is fine but be mindful of aggression, husbandry, feeding, and care.

i had a couple.others lost along the way lost one mandarine.i didnt have enough hidding spots tang didnt like him i got more.rock and hes ok with this one no one fights clowns nip at chromis if they come toward there bta its a foot across so its big

Did you seed the tank with alot of copepods and ampipods for the mandarin dragonet because they only eat pods and lots of them and I have a dragonet but I'll buy alot of pods for it and I buy around 20,000 every 2 months to put in the tank and mine is fat as can be and I've had him for a couple of years now but you gotta buy alot of pods for it or it will die from starvation and I buy mine from algaebarn and I am gonna buy some ampipods this weekend from this place because algaebarn doesn't sell ampipods just copepods but you can Google where can I buy these from and it will bring up a bunch of places so if you don't already have some copepods and ampipods for the mandarin dragonet you really need to get a bunch of them I have an order coming today with some so they will go in the tank tonight when the lights go out but just checking to make sure that you know that you need these for the dragonet

Everyones opinions on certain fish and their most minimum tank size is always varied, my opinion is a yellow tang would do best in a 70 gal but I'm a guy that would put a clown in a 10 gal while some say thats way too small so I guess it's really who you choose to follow as far as that goes. He will probably do good in a 55 for a long time. When adding that much fish be sure to do it very slowly to ensure the bacteria within your tank has grown enough to cycle the new heightened amounts of waste produced. Pre-plan what you will get and add the fish from peaceful to aggressive in that order to try and ensure that theres no fights, especially with fish like the 6 line wrasse.

Besides playing with fire with leaving fish disease untreated, in the short run you may be ok.

Also, welcome home, you'll love it here at R2R! :)

thanks for the welcome i been studying up on all my fish i added them over a course of a year mandirine was one of the last to add tge chromis were the very last i was lookn for more movement every fish was on smaller side when i added them i plan to take some out once they start to over grow i think at tge point of 6 line my gramma wasnt happy with him and took him out the dease thing iam new too but i know bout the salinity drop will kill stuff or put it at bay i didnt mean to get fish sick they seemed ok at store but got tgem home and descovered sickness 1 time i tryed garlic feeding and it seemed to work then i came to conclustion as long as no ones fighting with them you feed them good and they take care of the rest there imuine system takes care of it what i seen so far iam done with adding fish now time for corals i got 2 bta so i need to plan i know they move mines been in same area for 4 months now he 12 inches across he just tyrns a little to get flow he wants if i accidently bump the power heads

Yellow tang in a 55 is a no. I had a yellow tang in a 150 and after 6 months he got really agressive. I had to take him out.

I now have a 210 and I have 6 fish and an eel. Remember, fish grow

so far hes ok when frist intodused he didnt like mandarine but got more rock every thing is good so far he knows were hes food clip is it was for my girlfreind she loves yellow tangs i asked if when he gets to big if i could trade him back and they said yes got him for 20 thought id give him a try i cured him he had some cloudy sickness on him but been fating him up hes heathy and active now he loves the tank figured id get atleast a year out of him he was only a inch when i got him 2 months ago
