New to saltwater and need advice

I would look for a larger sized AIO (all in One) setup. Really makes things simple and keeps everything in one place. I find a lot of really good tips on here and youtube always has great videos on pretty much anything you can think of. Welcome!

I definitely appreciate all the input and advice from everyone. So currently I am thinking of upgrading my tank to a 40 gallon (the biggest size i can fit in the space I have) and turning my 29 gallon into a sump for it. In regards to the RODI unit, what should I be looking for exactly? I have seen some that range from $60 to way above.

I would spend a little on a decent one from marine Depot or brs. Definitely look at one with easy to get and cheap replacements. Probably at least a 4 stage.
