Hello everyone!

I'm someone who has experience in freshwater, but is new to saltwater.
Finally decided to realize a dream I've had for a while, and take the dive into saltwater.

Currently I have a waterbox peninsula 25. The tank is currently cycling, it just has some live rock and an emerald crab in there.
Things are going well so far. However...

I have a mystery coral on my live rock. Some say it resembles a ball anemone, others say a majano. I was wondering if anyone around here can provide more insight?

Also, I've had an aiptasia issue with one of the live rocks. Considered a peppermint shrimp, but the aiptasia is on the same rock as the 'mystery coral', so I may just dry the rock instead if the mystery turns out to be a bad one.

Additionally, my filter system has a bit of an issue where the water levels seem to drop the further along the water gets. Pump room has the lowest levels. It may be the filter sock. Pump I'm using is an eheim compacton 1000.

I am also getting more rocks soon! I had a 10 gallon before, so I needed less rock. But now I'll need a bunch more...
Another upgrade I've planned is the light. Currently I'm using the Aqua Knight V2. It works for the easier corals, at least so far. Just have some zoanthids, GPS and pulsing xenia in there. However, the light is obviously on the lower end of what you can get. So that'll be upgraded one day (soonish?)

Would love to hear your insights on this! Attached pics of my tank and the mystery coral.

Your mystery coral is actually a ball anemone which is actually a mushroom, but given its name from the little tentacles/balls
