Excellent advice! Spend a ton of time researching first and you will save yourself a ton of frustration later.

i forgot one thing and this is from ten plus years in the hobby, set up a qt for fish at the least and if you cant set up a SEPARATE system for coral make sure you at least dip everything that can be dipped. bayer complete insect killer is best overall dip. get it at lowes for eight bucks or so.

thanks for input i have read about the qt thing going to use my 30g for that i have a 65g i like to set up bty can i use the water from the 30g to seed the 65g
