Hi everyone, iv just started up a fowlr and its about 4 days into the cycle. This will be my first saltwater tank as iv never felt confident enough to take on marine, But after having 4 freshwater tanks for almost 6 years i think im finally ready for the challenge lol. I dont really have any major problems with my freshwater tanks and have kept the fish alive years. But i do understand reef are much more complicated and iv got alot to learn. At the moment im just waiting on a api test kit so i can check the waters and see where my cycle is up to, and also Having problems with water evaporation and keeping my salinity stable. Hopefully il be getting about 8lbs of live rock in a few hours to add to the 11lbs already in the tank. Oh yeah and whats up with all these little critters on the rock? There much more creepy then anything iv ever seen in a freshwater tank. Thanks for reading i think il need as much help as possible with this tank lol

The little critters are normal. Remember if water is evaporating to replace with fresh, not salt. Remember to keep your ph in check-around 8.2-8.3.
