Hey guys, sorry if this is in the wrong place on the website. My ex girlfriend and I recently had a fall out- and I’ve become the sole caretaker of “our” previous saltwater tank when we decided to go our separate ways. She was the one who usually handled everything, so this is a beginning for me.
I currently have a 29 Gallon with an unknown amount of “live rock” (I’m pretty sure that’s what it’s called). It has two filters on it made by aquaeon. I have a clown fish, 2 yellow tailed damsels, a coral beauty, something cardinal (not sure of full name), and a fire fish. I just wanted to know the round abouts- is this an ok set up? Should I invest in anything else? I have read some of the forums on this site regarding ammonia and such- all tests are good but my nitrates are always around 15-20 when I test during a water change, wish I’ve decided to set at one per week. Ph is at 8.2. I’ve attached some photos here. Thanks in advance, I can’t say how much I appreciate this website and all the information it provides.
