New to Saltwater

Such an expensive upgrade thou.
Steves LEDS work really well for a factory look. Otherwise a very popular option is to remove the hood and use an AI Prime HD or a Kessil A160 for their ease of mounting using each's mounting arm

Depends. Is it the cost or the price. They cost a little more but how much money will you have tied up in the tank? Cost for me having a great light to cover the price of my corals. :D

So how do I know when I'm ready to add Coral or a better question is how do I know I can add it without it dying. Like I said on Friday I am planning on putting some polyps and zoas. I do have a bunch of mushrooms and anema and other Coral in another tank.

I understand but do I need a better light if I only plan on doing soft corals. I have almost $1,200 invested into everything I have so far.

The stock lights worked with our softies and nems. We upgraded when my wife wanted to expand to more difficult corals. If we kept her torches, mushrooms and frogspawns we wouldn't have upgraded. They done great under the stock lights.

I like aquarimate.
Ok thanks. Wow its $10. With a 3.9 review. I am trying aquarium note and Aquarium assistant. They are free. Better reviewed as well. I'm liking them both but still seeing which one does more. But I might give it a try.

You don't, first one adds a clean up crew, then simple corals. Then if everything looks healthy, try a fish

Ok. Nano reef people dumped all over me for same question. I gave them all my levels and asked them if I could add a piece of coral my tank and I got told everything from how far the Sun is from the Earth to why aliens exist. But no one would answer the simple question as to can I put a coral in my tank LOL.

This is my friends tank. He offered to house things for me till I'm ready. He's knowledgeable and helpful. But as everyone does I think. He has issues from time to time so I'm trying to learn on my own with some of his knowledge as I don't want to duplicate his mistakes.

LOL. Just roll with it. There is really no definitive parameter, or time. The best piece of advice I got was do one thing and wait two weeks, do another wait two weeks.

Ok cool. Like I said just want to add one thing to see. But everyone's like your levels need to be here and here. And I'm like ok so I'll dose water, then people freaked, but I'm like once you add a bunch of coral won't you need to dose anyway? They said yes but...... Lol so I'm like ok my levels are close but not where people told me. I'm not aloud to dose and shouldn't add coral yet. Guess calcium and Kh and Mg just become good with magic.... Anyone have some?

Also I have a question on feeding. How often should I be feeding my fish, current tank nano tank has 20 cuc and 3 Fish. I've heard lots of opinions. What do you guys think?
