Hey how’s everyone doing. I’ve been keeping a freshwater tank for about a year now and doing a pretty good job. I decided to get a fluval evo13.5 and just started it up yesterday. I bought caribsea live sand. I also bought dry rock from them and they also threw in some live water for free for me. My question is how pong is the cycle. How do I know my cycle is complete? When can I add some corals and or livestock? What type of cleanup crew can I add? Once again I’m new to this whole thing any help is much appreciated

Welcome to R2R!
There are a couple great threads i'd recommend reading through
The Supreme Guide to Setting Up A Saltwater Aquarium
Cycling An Aquarium
Acclimation and Quarantine
Tons of great info for beginners :)
Each tank is different. Some can cycle in as little as 2 weeks, some can take over 2 months.

So these are my readings after a few days. I also added biospira to kick start the cycle. My salinity is at 1.030 if I used the refractometer the right way. I know that should be a little lower. Got some distilled water to add in so I can get it to the right level.

Welcome to reef2reef. Don't rush and do plenty of reading. You will hear it a million times but nothing good comes fast in this hobby.
