Doesn’t look like you have very much rock. Do you have rock in the canister filter as well?

I do not, just running what came with the canister for now which is carbon and filter pads. I have around 30lbs in there right now, but planning for more here soon. I am honestly thinking of just going with a marineland, or aquaclear HOB filter due to easier maintenance, and they actually push more GPH than what I have now.
