Ok so you can go about 8 inches tall on the first chamber. The skimmers can be moved up and down for adjustment. The last chamber can be 8 inches but want give you much room for backflow so I would go about 6" tall. That will give you a little more room. As far as the return chamber only being 3" wide your not living much room for evaporation. Forgive my drawing skills right now. Is this the idea or even close. Lol

So take a tape measure go five inches from the end and mark, then measure on the mark from the bottom up 8" there is your first chamber. Measure from there and mark were you want you fuge, then go from the bottom and mark 6 to 8".

Ok you will want to go about a inch of the bottom on the side were the skimmer is and mark. That will be the bottom of the baffle. Measure from there up 8 to 9". That give you the hieght of the baffle. If you want a second baffle you can do the same thing on the return side.

You can even use plexiglas from homedepot but you are probably need a way to turn down the flow so your skimmers can keep up too.

Cool your opinion means perfection to me, unfortunately I have to go back to glass cutter tomorrow he left out a cutting and I made glass too wide :/

Did you measure the inside or outside. But ultimately it comes down to what you like. I just try to give you a picture to going with the vision in your head. There are a ton of ways to build a sump.

Make a rookie mistake and didn't take glass in ten gallon into consideration, should have been 9 3/4

So you made a mistake that a lot of people have done. I just learn from my mistakes and move on. That is the sucky part of learning because it make you look like a idiot some times. And no I'm not calling you one. I have felt like one a few time though. Lol
