Hi I have recently set up a reefer xxl 750
This is my first Marine sump Set up

I came home from work to day to find my water
Level had raised and my ato has dumped about 10 litres of water In the system as the bubble trap sponge had blocked.

my question is . What’s the easy way to raise it . . It was at 1.025 and dropped to 1.024 I know it’s not a lot
But I have had it at 1.025 all the way though the cycle

and I have livestock in there so I know I can’t add salt to the system

I usually just add some mixed seawater to the tank. As the water evaporates the salinity will then slowly rise. until the water level drops to the level of the auto top off then the auto top off will keep the salinity constant.

Thank you I will give that a try

Just a side note for the XXL750. If you don't know about it there is an issue with the center part of the stand dropping down. Check out this thread.

I am lucky I have the new v3 with the Center brace I have only had it from 13 of December as when I ordered it Red Sea was out of stock
So I never got the original version

so it’s all a learning curve as I have never had a system with a sump before

I was worried though as I had seen videos of them failing on the front

That's good that you got the latest version.
