Hello friends, I'm new around here! I've kept a 20 gallon reef tank for over 10 years now and I'm getting ready for my first upgrade.

Here is a fairly recent fts of my 20 gallon high reef tank. It was initially established in 2007 with power compact lights, a bio wheel filter, maxijet power heads, and 20 pounds of premium fiji live rock from liveaquaria. Actually got it going freshman year in my dorm room!

Now, the tank is running a jebao pump, reef octopus hob skimmer, an aquaclear power filter with an intank media basket (floss and 2tbs of a 50/50 mix of carbon/gfo), and a nano box reef led. It's had a good run and experienced a lot of ups and downs.

Pretty excited for the coming upgrade, a 68 gallon ocean view half cylinder by Aqua Vim purchased off craigslist for a paltry 300 dollars. Included was the tank, stand, canopy, about 100 pounds of live rock, and a lot of bogus equipment.

Excited to leverage all the knowledge I have gained so far into this tank. Also trying and learning new things....

Like how do I get this sort of overflow going?

So that's me and where I'm at. My wife has her own tank now for her "coral babies" and we will be at MACNA this year! She got bit by the reef bug, hard. I'm super lucky. [emoji2]

Welcome to R2R, you have a great tank going already. And yes you are very lucky, my wife got bit by the coral bug too(but it was the mushroom bug, hopefully the acro bug will bite her also)

Looking good!
