Freshwater sage fish whisperer
hello! I am new to the salty side, but not new to aquariums. I currently have a 29 gallon planted with B. Macrostoma. It is half full ( so roughly 13 gallons?) with a nice waterfall feature along the back. I also have a 40 breeder housing some B. Pallifina and a B. Renata. I have a 60 gallon about to be setup for my land hermit crabs who currently live in a 14 gallon.

Several years back I was lucky enough to find an Oceanic stretch hex aquarium at a church sale. I paid $5.00 for it
Yes you read that right. Five whole bucks! Had the glass top and the stock light, but no stand and nothing else. For the longest time I had freshwater bettas and even angels in there but finally I decided I wanted to use it for its main purpose.
The stand is an old TV stand so no room for a sump. I have an in tank skimmer, a Hydor. I also have about 50 lbs of rock and 40 lbs of live sand. Also a lovely barnacle just waiting for a blennie. I have an Eheim 2222 , and an mj400 for flow, just until I can get some wavemakers. It works for now. Light is a Current USA freshwater planted+ until my funding allows for a better one. For the CUC I have three snails ( those things are spensive!) One turbo, one margharita and a naciruss (sp) and six blue leg hermits. Three were rescues. For fish I have one. A little yellowtail demoisale. Hes adorable. Oh I also have a few very small pieces of macro algaes to start. the ad called them Red Razor, Chaeto, Codium, dragons breath and deep ocean coralline.
Now for plans I want to plant this puppy with macro algaes and add an anoneme with a pair of clowns. I also want some very simple corals. I would like the demoisale to stay as I have read they are not near as big jerks as damsels and stay smaller, and a blennie or two for the barnacle.
So anything else that would be a good addition? Any good sources for macros that shipping wont kill me on? I got these with free shipping from Ebay and they were sent exactly like freshwater plants, which makes me question how some sites will charge upwards of 30 bucks to ship them...
