I started my first tank in 2003. A few years later two hurricanes kicked my butt. I lost power/AC two different times. The loss of power and the heat were just to much to handle. I slept with my tank for weeks!. I was able to buy a small window AC unit. I put it in the window closest to the tank and powered it off the generator. I built a tiny "room" around the tank with plastic sheeting and blankets. Just enough room for my tank and my recliner for a bed. Unfortunately it just wasn't enough. My tank sat empty for years, begging me to start again. I finally couldn't take it anymore and started over about 5 months ago, and man am I glad I did! I'm starting slow right now with FOWLR, but I'm sure I'll amp it up sooner then latter. Still using my original equipment but I'm sure I'll upgrade soon. Lot's of cool stuff out there now. Well, thanks for reading my sad little story. Hope to pick y'alls brains in the future.
