Hi folks! Had a member recommend me to this forum to get some help with poor coral color, dosing, and some general questions. To start I'm sure I should give some background. I'm located in northeast Pennsylvania. I bought the 150g redsea tank a year ago. My first tank BTW. Teardown,Transported, setup, and cycled with out much loss. Other than a couple fish and a couple coral i added its pretty much what I got. Pics to follow.

Welcome to the forum. I'm very new my tank is 6 months old. I'm really flying by the seat of my pants. I'm hoping as you learn so will I.

It's a great hobby. It's amazing how you become so aware of your tank in time that you can tell when something is off. It's also super cool to see it grow everyday. I will help any way I can!

In order to help with the color we must know pretty much everything about your system. The tank itself, lighting, water parameters, dosing....

Alright. Be gentle on me with terms...still learning:) the tank is a 150g red sea max. Underneath hold sump tank. Not sure how many gallon. Water starts on a fiber filter bag. I use a reef octopus skimmer and two reactors. One reactor with bio max, the other phos- pellets. Also has uv inline that is on the high light timers. Chiller and integrated power system with rodi top off built in as well. Top side 10 bulb 80w t5. Hood with led moon light. I use two reef spec pinks that are on the regular light timer. The high lights are 4 aqua blue+, and 4 pure actinics. They are layed out in a every other order. Also has 4 built in power heads in tank as circulators. Tank has about 1-2" sand bed. I am not sure how much live rock but its a lot. I feed corals 1-2 times a month with coral frenzy using tube. Fish have a varied diet. I like keep it switched up. I'll post pic of food after. Sal constant 1.025. Alk target 9-11. Normally flows around high 9. Cal 460. I chase this one a lot and need help on daily dosing. Mag 1350. Normally pretty constant in the 1290-1300 range. Ph 8-8.4 this stays really consistent for me at 8-8.2. I use ati tests but Santa clause got me the new hanna's. I would attempt to name my corals and fish but I know I would butcher it. I have tangs, nemos, potter, leopard wrasse, rainbow, fox face, and others. Also big cleaning crew lots of different snails. Sea cucumber, shrimp, lobster, sand sifter star, two Urchin's, and a two gobbies that I have seemed to loose both times.

I have never t tried different bulbs on the recommendation of the LFS. He sold this unit and everything in it to the original owner. Just went by what was working. Nitrate 0 and phos- running about 60 on the hanna. So about .18ppm?

Testing update.
Sal-1.026
Alk-9.24
Cal-464
Mag-1455
Ammo-0
Nitri-0
Nitra-5
Ph-8.2
Phos-70

Why would my mag be so high? Last dose was 2/1 and it was only 2 tsp. That test was 1260. ???weird.
