Hello everyone,

I have joined today because of recent changes in my tank. I have a 18 gallon nano tank that I set up and moved around 5x. I have live Hawaiian volcanic rock, live sand and 2 clown fish in it. The tank has been live for a total of ten years and I love it. I recently had my smaller clown die and when I took him in to the fish shop, they said he died of natural causes. I have added 2 bubble tip anemones and hope the tank does well. I had rarely done anything with numbers except for salt levels and regular water changes. I do have lots of Hawaiian fire worms. Five years ago I was stung and it landed me in the ER. I now use the "big gloves" for filter changes, thats how they got me, lol.

I hope to learn more and hopefully improve my tank quality. My surviving clown is still with me going on 10 years. Their picture is my profile avatar.

Welcome to R2R! Sorry about your little buddy :(
You might want to thin down that herd of fireworms. It's amazing how much damage they can do to a fish. And you, as you well know.

Welcome, maybe a bristleworm trap could get some of those fireworms.

Hello, Yes that was suggested. I was told to use a nylon sock and place frozen brine shrimp inside. Then place the sock/fireworm trap on the bottom overnight. He said in the morning it would be full of the worms, my concern is that my hermit crabs may get caught as well. Will post something on this in the forum soon, Ty!
