I recently acquired a 100 gallon tank with sump and have been looking into starting a saltwater tank. Grew up with fresh water and going to take a stab at salt. Since I'm a beginner I've been reading and think I'll start a fowlr. Any recommendations are welcome!

Welcome to R2R! Keep reading...you've come to the right place! Salt > Fresh lol. There's plenty of 'soft' corals that you can keep with FOWLR type fish (corals can be easier than you think). Start a build thread when you get going.
