Owning a saltwater aquarium has always been a dream of mine that has recently become a reality. Started in March of 2017 I have a 75 gallon display on a custom built stand with a trigger 34 sump and a BRS reactor w/ GFO and carbon currently running. 4 fish so far , A blue hippo tang, two black clowns, and a yellow tang. Corals include red mushrooms, Green Star polyps, brown button mushrooms, watermelon zoas?, 2 RBT anemones bc peppermint shrimp or not so nice, a torch, a trumpet, and they rescue Akan which is doing very well. The peppermint shrimp have been evicted out the reef and placed in the sump just in case and a scarlet skunk shrimp has been added to the display. Any pointers on care and maintenance would be greatly appreciated. I tend to be overly paranoid when it comes to my saltwater tank.

I love your reefscaping.
Thanks. It was from someone elses break down, they brought it to my local store right after i left and had paid for bare rock, i had to have it so paid the difference for the 6 extra pounds and established coral

Love that right side rock. Welcome!

I just started mine October of last year. We lost my dad to cancer last June, and I took on this insane and addicting hobby to kind of serve as a memory to my dad. Every time I look at my tank I have a little moment with him.

Thats sweet. I just love fish and marine life. I spent a month in Hawaii as a pre teen and wore my brother out on the beach. I couldnt get enough of it. I also have a 55 gallon freshwater tank and a 1 gallons n beta bowl but we dont count it in out total water count.

Welcome to Reef@Reef! What a great start!

Don't be Paranoid. Just enjoy. Its a maddening puzzle at times (ie Reefers idea of fun), but quite easy if you stick to the basics.
