I have a 38 gal tank that has been set up for about 2 months ... It finished it's cycle (I think). Today I purchased a hammer and candy cane coral but they are all shriveled up. How long till they open up? Also, my candy cane coral has a tiny spot where you can see the skeleton, will it grow back or is this a sign that it's dying?

On the candy cane it can be either way. I would check your water parameters including calcium and phosphate. Do you have anything else in your tank?

here is a pic of my tank before it cycled. I have a condy anenome in there that has now turned greenish brown and is ugly. Anyone know how to get it's color back?

What wattage is that LED unit?
What are your water parameters?
Calcium
Alk
Mag
Phosphates
Nitrates
Ammonia

Need all parameters in order to trouble shoot. How did you cycle the tank as well? Fishless? Just add fish the same time as coral?

I went and got my water checked today. They said my salinity was high so I did a water change and just added fresh water. I had a few chromis and two clown fish later in my cycle.
