I know that 1, 2 and 7 = Ricordia Mushroom 3= Favia (I think), and 4,5,6,8 = Zoanthids however if anyone know the names of them I would love to know.

1&2-Ricordia yuma
3-Favia speciosa (Christmas Favia)
4-Pink zoas and button polyps (protopalys)
5-Green PE (not true GPE)
6-Mean Greens and Isaurus tuberulcata (snake polyps)
7-looks like yuma or frogspawn baby...
8-Not sure of name, but cool zoas

Question on #5 you said not true GPE how do you know the difference?

Is there anything special I should be doing for the snake polyps as they look a little less full then they did 2 days ago when I shot these pics?

Well the "true GPE" is just a certain color morph that was named as such. It does in fact look like #5 is a PE type paly though. :D

Welcome to CZ, stick around and post! ;)

Thanks, Pufferpunk. I hadn't seen them open yet... Sounds like I'll be running night duty tonight:).

True GPE's have a different look to them. Those are what most call GPE's, though. I've seen a lot of zoas similar to those turn into Desert Storms, Stardust and Pink Stardust PE's (all the same zoa IMO). There is certainly nothing wrong with them-just distinguishing the two:).

What does GPE or PE stand for?

Thanks for the pics of the snakes I am hooking up my DIY moon lights tomorrow so maybe I can catch a glimse.

GPE - Green People Eater

PE - People Eater
