Hi I'm really new to this hobby and I have a 10 gallon salt water tank with one zoa and one gap coral , one peppermint shrimp, on unknown baby snail that is a few weeks old, 2 Nassarius and 4 Astraea snail. I've had my tank up and running since January and I've had ick twice treated the tank with Cure each time and let it fallow the first time for 100 days and I'm two weeks into the second fallow period since the last dowh died. My question is , should I add another coral or wait? I seem to have much better success with invertebrates and corals than fish. I only have a 10 gallon tank I don't have a refugium, just simple hardware and a good reef light. Seems like everyone dips their corals and qts them but Im not set up for that yet . Thanks for the advice!

If it was me, I would add more corals.

As for fish, honestly, it is a very small tank for most fish. Depending what kind of fish, or how many fish, you tried to add, a small tank can easily stress a fish.

Thank you I'm perfectly fine with having no fish but the LFS says I should have fish to feed my corals but I've been feeding the tank with fish food and the invertebrates and they seem to be doing just fine without fish

i would still add a fish, or two. or maybe just a shrimp/goby pair or some type of similar duo of inhabitants!

but yes, add more corals if the two you have are doing good.

I'm not positive the last clown fish died from ich , but I'm treating it again with the CURE and after another long fallow period, I might try again. For some reason my LFS recommended that I wait a few more months to add another coral , I just don't know why I should since Ich doesn't affect corals or any additional invertebrates. Thanks for your help
