Hello everyone my name is Alan...I'm still pretty new to the hobby started off with a 56 gal column saltwater aquarium and after learning more and more realized I wanted something bigger and with more length. So I grabbed a nice 75 gallon from Craigslist for $69. I'm currently in the process of resealing it because the original silicone did look kinda rundown. I just recently removed the top trim because he was cracked in several places and I have a new frame en route. But I'm here to learn and I'll have tons of questions. So thanks in advance for all of you help.

Welcome to R2R. Ask away and if someone can help they will. I learned a lot from the search.

My advice take your time and don't rush it. Use RO/DI water from the start. Mix saltwater in food safe containers. Coral dip your corals before adding to your tank. quarintine your fish or buy them from a LFS that can do it for you. Don't buy live rock buy dry rock that is clean and culture yourself. This will prevent you from getting unwanted pests or desease in your tank. I like the carib sea rock it has lots of holes and looks great. Most of all have fun. Oh ya it's addicting.
