Hello there, I have had my tank cycling now for almost 3 weeks. 38g w approximately 30 lbs of live rock and 2 bags of live sand. A few pieces of the rock already have coral (I believe to be) growing on them. Wondering if anyone may be able to help me identify these. Any and all questions and opinions much appreciated. I will do my best to answer your questions to aid me in the growth of my tank. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to r2r tank is looking good.

They look like zoas that have been to hell and back, but they look to be getting happy so your on the right track :-)
You also have some bubble algae ( Valonia ventricosa), check on YouTube to see how to siphon out before it becomes a problem

Thank you Mike and dalmatia, I bought the rocks from a lfs. She said there is small coral already growing on them but I won't charge you. I have come to notice that when the light is on they seem taller and open up a bit. The smaller ones appear to be spreading and they act the same way as the taller ones.
