New to the hobby

I am new to the hobby and am looking for some advice throughout this process. I am picking up a 100 gallon tank this weekend and will be slowly putting together parts. I am hoping to have it up and running by the hollidays if possible. Thank you in advance for all the advice.

Welcome to R2R. I found the BRS 160 series on youtube very helpful when I was researching my first tank . I watched the videos and cruised the forums. Still feel like I don't know anything but try to learn something new every day about the hobby.
