Well there was some long algae hairs all over the rocks about a week ago then i turned on the skimmer they all just blew off the rocks ended up in the dump. So I turned off the skimmer again cause though it would be better to let bacteria build. My nitrate is at 5ppm this morning I've been adding nite out bacteria every other day . I've added one cardinal and one chromi they've been there about a week. My question how long should I wait to start adding a few frags I know my ph is low should I add a buffer?

Welcome to R2R!!! Very nice tank, you can buy salifert and red sea test kits at bulk reef supply and marine depot. What r you going to keep, your salinity may be a little low depending.
