Hey everyone,

Name is Jake and I'm new to the hobby and keeping fish in general. I've watched so many videos and read up on so much that I think my girlfriend is starting to buy into the whole getting a saltwater tank. We just bought a condo in Charlotte and what better time to start a tank. I'm going to be on the look for a Red Sea 350, atleast that's what I'm thinking. I'll most likely start a build thread just to show what I've learned and done throughout the build. Excited to start and hello to you all.

Welcome! Saw you posted on my build thread. I’m also in Charlotte, near the stadium. My girlfriend started getting to the hobby as my tank matured. One day she said to me “you need a bigger tank and like a closet or a small room behind the tank to just hide everything,”. Proposed to her that weekend. Now we are upgrading!
