I am brand new to the reef community. I have had freshwater aquariums on and off for my entire life and always wanted to get into reef aquariums but I was afraid to pull the trigger. My wife and I decided to get another aquarium a couple weeks ago and an up and running 55 gal tank showed up on craigslist at a good price. Right now it has a small Current MH light that used to be on a 30 gal and a 48" aqueon modular LED that has one daylight, one colormax and one blue tube in it, a bio wheel 350 hang on back filter, UV sterilizer and an aquarium systems hang on back protein skimmer. It came with two clown fish, three damsels, three hermit crabs, a pistol shrimp,at least one snail that stays in the sand, another medium sized snail that stays on the glass most if the time. There are also two anemones (not sure what kind), an aptasia anemone (peppermint shrimp will be added soon)I have found a couple of small bristle worms. I have added about 10 pounds of live rock on top of what was already in the tank with another 20 or so curing in my garage in a 30 gallon tank. I have radioactive dragon eyes, eagle eye, and another unknown zoa to me. There are also a couple of mushrooms and I believe some green star clusters that have hit hiked their way in on some live rock. Open for advice. Thanks in advance. Mike
