New to the Salt Water Hobbie!

Hello

I have had Tropical fish my Whole life My last adventure was Breeding Discus fish, I havent kept a tank in 8 years and Now I would like to setup a Reef Tank So here I am,
I have no exp with salt water reef tanks,but will put 40 years of fresh water exp on the table as a good starting point, I have aready started to acculmate the parts required for the tank,I hope to learn alot from the more exp refers here on the forums,
Any suggestions is greatly appreacated,

Welcome to R2R!

1st suggestion would be to read, read, read, and then ask questions before you do anything. You will find that mostly anything you are going to do or thinking of doing, someone has already did or tried.

There are some great threads in this section to get started: New To The Hobby? (SW Beginner Forum)

Also figure out 1st what kind of tank you want: mixed reef, lps only, sps only, fowlr.....and then figure out where to go from there.
