New to the Saltwater community!!

I think it's diatom, I do have 8 snails that help keep my rocks clean. When I put in the crushed coral on top of the sand within 30 min the CC had algae/diatom all over it (brown in color). Yes I have the eshopps 100 skimmer and the aquaclear 110 hob filter

yea so thats just new tank stuff. how about the live rock and bacterial supplements?

There are 2 pieces that are for sure live the other rocks I'm not too sure. What is a good bacterial supplement that I could add?
