Hi all!
I've been in the hobby for about 10 years and took a break when my tank sprung a leak and then we put our house up for sale, moved, and had to prepare a basement for the new tank. So, it's been about a year with the new tank running. It's 300 gallon mixed reef, though most of the corals are frags or small colonies.
I recently had a 6 hour power outage that took 4 of my fish, but fortunately for me, not my favorites. I have a whole home generator, but that didn't do any good when it was just a gfci that tripped. Since then, I've made the corrections that common sense should have dictated in the first place.
A search for Bryopsis removal brought me to the site - I'm currently treating with high magnesium using Tech M, but it is slow going and I'm not seeing much impact. I'm considering the Fluconazole before the bryopsis gets out of hand.
A quick fts - didn't prep tank for a photo shoot.
