Recently set up a 55 gallon tank, live sand, base rock, added small bit of food to start process as suggested the ammonia has spiked...can someone tell me if these levels all look right?

Ammonia- .25
Nitrite- 0
Nitrate- 0
pH- 8.0
Salinity- 1.025
Phosphate- 0
Alkalinity- 8
Calcium- 8

I know the ammonia needs to drop.

The ammonia will drop over time. You will need to raise it with some sort of food or ammonia dosing a few times over the next few weeks. You want to grow enough bacteria to process food and fish waste so the tank stays ammonia free
