New to zoas dipping questions.

I have been reading up on dips, & coral pests, and I want to clarify the latest best methods. I am not new to reefing but with my rebuild I am going to expand the corals I add to my tank. I dipped the small frags I currently have in Bayer. I actually made a stronger solution than I read about. And the frags have been great. But what do you all do? Can anyone share their dip/soak method?

Same. A little thick, 10-15 minutes. No issues so far. Most frags I have received were pretty clean (on a new build).

Bayer also, no measuring just nice and milky on day one. On day 2 I like to do an H2O2 dip. 2/3 tank water, 1/3 H2O2 for 2 to 3 minutes. This does great to take care of any algae on the frag.

In place of Bayer I used Expel from UWC on the last batch, but those corals were all SPS and I couldn't find a single pest or even a pod in the order so it wasn't a good evaluation.

On an H2O2/peroxide dip, do you submerge the entire frag or just the base?

For zoas in H2O2/peroxide, I like to make sure they are closed up real good before putting them in.

One issue I am struggling with is I always left corals on the base they came on. I understand that is no no. But I always moved my corals around till I likes where they were at. What to do?

I leave mine on their bases if possible also. Phone cameras make excellent magnifying glasses. I use my phone to do a very detailed inspection for pest eggs after the Bayer dip and rinse.
