New to Zoas

I have caught the zoa bug and love zoas and palys. I have a 70 gal cube with 2 vortech mp 10ws and a 250 watt 20k elos bulb. Being that my tank is 24" tall and the light is 8" off the water, what is the best placement for my zoas? Thanks!!

I would say near the middle/bottom of the tank. But you could acclimate them to go higher later on if you'd like as well.

Honestly different zoas and palys like different locations better, but that being said most will adjust for almost any light. You will also see variations of the colors with different intensity.

I have them all in the sand for now and ill slowly move them up if i decide to, i kinda like having them stay in the sand so they grow into zoa balls as i call them lol.

yep the bed is the place for them to start with then slowly move them up......I lost about 8-10 darth mauls just by moving them about 4in once they closed up and never opened again

yeah I've lost blue hornets and yellow jackets moving them too much too fast so just take your time and do it INCHES at a time lol.
