New torch super angry

I purchased more corals today and bought my most expensive coral which was this hellfire torch. I dipped it in DIPX for around 10 mins.

Parameters are

Salinity: 1.026
Alk : 8.13
CA: 470
MG: 1406
NO3: 5.3
PO4: .09
Par: ~140 in that spot

its brand new (added it today) and I think i am mostly just freaking out but for me it was a ton of money and my first torch. Anything I should do or should i just wait?

Breathe, then relax. Enjoy the coral.

Flesh looks good, give it time. I only dip for 5 min. 10 is getting to be pretty long imo.

Did you reduce your light schedule? Might be better to acclimate the coral at just under 100 par. Unless this was growing under 140 at the lfs.

Dip X is very close to melafix and 10-15 minutes is no big deal.

The flesh looks good, polyps are sticking out a little, I think you will be fine once it settles in.

Yep membrane looks good - your nutrients are somewhat out of balance tho. I would work on getting your no3 up to around 10-15 and po4 down to about 0.05

yea I havent fed super heavy and I just setup my refugium today. I have a planted tank so I have ways to raise nitrate or phosphate. im going to increase feeding a little bit but those numbers were post 30% waterchange and hoping the refugium helps balance it out.

I would acclimate in low light low flow if possible

I just put on aclimation mode for 10 days for my lights

Yeah torches rarely come out first day after being shipped and dipped. Usually the next day on some of them. Great looking torch
